George Pratt did a book called Enemy Ace, and this looks very similar to his work in a lot of stylistic ways and is pretty much the same subject matter. It's incredible that you made this without knowing of his work. I don't think I've seen such an honestly frightening and horrifying depiction of war in art in a long time. Kudos for the courage to make such a realistically harrowing work.
I really love the atmosphere and the action going on. Colours are great for this subject as well. One detail I noticed though is that the soldier in the foreground on the left has no rifle, while his hands seem to be holding one. Was that intentional?
